How to clean sinks perfectly

How to clean sinks perfectlyThe sinks in the bathroom and in the kitchen are not the easiest things to be cleaned. Everyday we use them many times and that’s the reason why they need to be cleaned often. However, there are different ways for removing the deep stains and dirt from them.

First of all we suggest you to try to unclog the drain with natural ingredients. We all know that baking soda has so many applications. Dump in ½ c. baking soda in the drain and let the hot water pour down the drain. Than let it sit for a few minutes. After this pour a mix of 1 c. vinegar and 1 c. hot water down on the top of baking soda and leave it again for about 5 minutes. The last step is to flush one more time the hot water for several minutes. The chemical reaction between the soda and the vinegar will loosen everything that has been stuck in your drain and the dirt will go away.

After you finish with the drain, you can continue with scrubbing the sink in order to remove the built up soap deposits, food stains or the water spots. To make a white porcelain sink sparkle leave paper towels soaked with bleach for about 30 minutes and then rinse the sink with water. Be careful if you have stainless steel sink to avoid the bleach!

If you want to make your sink shine you can also use a window cleaner.

For daily cleaning wipe the sink down with mild soap and sponge and rinse the sink with warm soapy water. Use the toothbrush to clean the hard-to-reach areas.

If you want to get rid of the water spots dry the sink with a cloth after every time you run the water.
