Coffee stain removal

Coffee stain removalMost of you probably love the morning cup of coffee, so you better get familiar with the ways to properly clean coffee stains on your carpets.

Here are some simple tips for removing all traces of coffee spills.

First thing to do is blot as much of the liquid as you can. Do not scrub, just blot the excess liquid.

Then use some of the following cleaning solutions and do not forget to test them in an inconspicuous area first to be sure you won’t damage the fabrics:

Method 1: Club Soda

This method is used for lifting stains on rugs or carpets. Pour some soda on the stain and blot. Repeat until the stain is gone. Let the area air dry.

Method 2: Lukewarm water and dish-washing detergent

Dilute a few drops of dish-washing liquid and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar into warm water. Flush the stain with the mixture. Blot clean and rinse with pure water.

Method 3: Beer

This may sound crazy, but pouring some beer onto the stain can lift it. Rub the beer into the material.

Method 4: Vinegar

This is an all-purpose cleaning solution for your household cleaning issues. Pat the spot with a towel moistened with white vinegar. Rinse with water.

Other methods for removing coffee stains include using baking soda, egg yolk, or salt. See which one will work for you.
